My most anticipated game of the 2012. Naughty Dog’s latest features a post apocalyptic story of two survivors who seem to be the last few humans left on Earth, similar to the movie I Am Legend. Although in the movie I Am Legend, the main antagonist were vampire like creatures, this game’s main enemy will be a human version of the Cordyceps fungus, turning humans into 28 Days Later like running zombies with fungus molded heads.

You have to see the trailer below. If you love the Naughty Dog’s Uncharted series, this game is a must have. My guesses are that the game will be a third person adventure shooter game similar to how you would play Nathan Drake except the world around the characters will obviously be deteriorated and swallowed by mother nature. And the game will probably have two stories, one for Ellie and one for Joel, the game’s main protagonists. I believe at some points in the game the two will be fighting the cordyceps together and at other times will have to separate to gather supplies or find other survivors left behind, etc. A perfect time to have character flashbacks as well. The game is speculated to have a November 2012 release date.
